From a Facebook & Instagram community to a Foundation

The Jacksonville Indoor & Outdoor Foundation was created as the next step in the growth of the Jacksonville Indoor & Outdoor Shooting Group, a community that began on Facebook and Instagram with a simple goal: bring Jacksonville-area firearms enthusiasts, responsible gun owners, instructors, ranges, vendors, and outdoor enthusiasts together.

As the community continued to grow, so did the vision. Facebook and Instagram helped bring people together. The Foundation is how that community becomes action.

While the Shooting Group remains a community-driven platform for connection, discussion, events, and shared interests, the Foundation provides a broader framework for education, community development, firearms safety, responsible ownership, outdoor recreation, charitable initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
